Polar is pleased to announce its involvement in the "Gatorade Gives Back" campaign which is set to reward active men and women across the UK and will span the length of the year. Recognising the effort and commitment individuals at all levels put into their sport and active life, Gatorade is rewarding them by giving something back.
Gatorade have teamed up with a host of exciting partners including Polar, New Balance, Power Music, Neilson Active Holidays and The National Magazine Company to offer 22 million Gatorade athletes the opportunity to redeem over a £1,000,000.00 in rewards including top sports equipment, music downloads, money can't buy experiences and sporting holidays.
To get involved, individuals will need to collect codes from each bottle of Gatorade that corresponds to a nominal points value. Codes can then be banked online (www.gatorade.co.uk) and via text and used to cash in on a wide range of sports-related rewards. There will also be a weekly prize draw for registered participants of the collector scheme. Each entry will require one point to be spent with the lucky winner winning one of many prizes ranging from training days with Olympic athletes to entry into 2010 sporting events.
Polar will be featuring the FT7 training computer in the promotion.
Gatorade sponsored athlete Bella Bayliss certainly reaps the benefits from training with her Polar heart rate monitor and comments:
"I love my Polar RS800CX training computer! It does so much to make my training more interesting and meaningful. Showing and recording key data like heart rate, distance, speed and then with the ability to down load it and see it all on my computer and understand my progression is great! I would recommend any athlete aiming to improve their personal performance or working to a big goal to get an RS800CX training computer." Bella Bayliss
